The use of line in comparison to the background is very striking. The way you have positioned the speech bubble is also very artistic. Your cartoon style is very admirable. Job well done~ -- PROCRASTINATORS UNITE... Tomorrow.  I love how the tail expresses the emotion of the cat. It's questioning it's place in life, and why it even exists. Good work!

 reports, 19h 19m agoThis newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and =Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. Critiques
The red simply jumps alive off the page with the careful attention to detail of feline anatomy. A subtle classic, yet strikingly modern piece of work.
Certainly, this is a pioneering effort in the world of minimalism, and yet at the same time, rises to be a shocking and heartfelt masterpiece with just the simple phrase of "meow."
My soul is filled with joy. I am definitely of the opinion this work must be preserved for all time, so that future generations make have this to gaze upon with awe and respect..
This piece speaks to the artist in each of us, the creative soul within that drives us to strive towards beauty.
If they weren't dead, I would assume you'd trained under the great masters. I think the most powerful part of this piece is it's simple message. 'Meow'. Isn't that the cry in each of our souls when pen touches paper?
This is more than a cat. This is each of us.
You are truly one of the finest artists in our generation. I look forward to seeing more from you; perhaps a dog?
